Making Great Photobooks

Photobooks are the ideal medium for displaying your holiday or family photos. Learn how to plan your layout and edit your work; how to make sense of the available tools and printing options and most importantly how to get truly professional resutls.

Sample photos are provided by the tutor, however you may bring in your own photos on a USB if you wish.

Workshop includes:
* editing for perfect printing
* planning your story
* perfecting the layout
* colour matching
* special effects
* framing and optimal cropping
* shooting photos especially for creating books.

There is a practical component to this class, where you will have the opportunity to do some hands-on practice with the Adobe Photoshop Elements program. You will leave the day knowing how to make sense of the options, work with the tools, understand the jargon, use good design criteria, get your pictures properly edited for optimal printing, and being able to apply what you have learnt to any application and book supply company of your choice.

This course is taught in a PC environment.
