More Information

About your tutor:
Mark Eliott is a Sydney based artist and teacher who’s main technique is sculpting and blowing borosilicate glass in the flame. His sculptures vary from the figurative to the abstract to the conceptual; on themes ranging from life-like representations of marine organisms to mythological figures and visual representations of music. His current projects include a collaboration with film-maker Jack McGrath to animate flame-worked glass. Mark also loves to teach and is often delighted by the improvisations produced by beginners on the flame.
