This course is designed to cater for the person just starting to play as well as those who already know some basic chords and wish to further their knowledge and skill.
In this Guitar for Beginners course you will learn a range of skills including:
* tuning the guitar
* open position cords
* scales and basic principles
* basic music theory
* chord construction
* chord progression.
You can learn at your own pace and take exercises and songs home to practice. Music is great fun so come and have a go!

You will need to bring your own guitar and it is recommended that if you need to buy one get a student nylon-stringed guitar. An electronic guitar tuner is also recommended. Reference material is supplied, please bring along a pen.
