Back by popular demand, this course will teach you all about buttercream from basic through to more advanced techniques. Over four weeks we cover:
* Making buttercream
* Basic techniques
* Piping on cupcakes
* Piping flowers onto a flower nail
* Icing a cake with buttercream
Unless otherwise notes all Short Course classes are for students 16 years of age or older.

Please note: An additional cost for each enrollee for specialist equipment, specific to this class, is due to the tutor at the first session. This kit includes piping tips, piping bags, couplers, a cake board, icing for week 1, a cake scraper and consumables. The cost of the kit for this class is $50 and must be paid for in cash. All kits are discounted to warehouse prices. Each student will need their own set of equipment. With the time constraints of the class it is not possible to share.
In addition to your kit you will need to supply 12 cupcakes for week 2, 8” or 20cm square cake in week 4, you will also need to bring buttercream icing in weeks 2 4. A recipe will be provided in week 1. Your icing for week 1 will also be provided.
