Get your bike out of the shed and ready for the warmer months! This course will teach you how to make basic adjustments and repairs to your bike including brakes and gears, wheels and spokes, puncture repairs and much more. This course is a must for avid cyclists and includes safety and helmet fitting tips.

BRING YOUR BIKE ON THE FIRST NIGHT OF THE COURSE

Week 1: Introduction; Repairing tyres and tubes; Removing wheels safely and correctly - quick release & bolt up.

Week 2: Servicing hubs; Different types of wheels; Cassettes, Cluster.

Week 3: Servicing different types of bottom brackets and headsets; Chains - Chain rings - Pedals.

Week 4: Adjusting and servicing gears, Gear cables.

Week 5: Adjusting and servicing brakes, Brake pads, Brake cables.

Week 6: Revision.
