This course will teach you how to make basic adjustments and repairs to your bike including brakes and gears, wheels and spokes, puncture repairs and much more. This course is a must for avid cyclists and includes safety and helmet fitting tips.
BRING YOUR BIKE ON THE FIRST NIGHT OF THE COURSE
Week 1: Introduction; Repairing tyres and tubes; Removing wheels safely and correctly - quick release & bolt up.
Week 2: Servicing hubs; Different types of wheels; Cassettes, Cluster.
Week 3: Servicing different types of bottom brackets and headsets; Chains - Chain rings - Pedals.
Week 4: Adjusting and servicing gears, Gear cables.
Week 5: Adjusting and servicing brakes, Brake pads, Brake cables.
Week 6: Revision.
