Course Image

This course is designed for people who are interested in learning the basics of language for holidays, general interest, etc. Classes also form a good base for continued language learning and for those wishing to commence formal language qualifications. This class may require a textbook.

Classes are interactive and designed to cover the fundamentals of language used in everyday situations. Classes are friendly and relaxed, but structured enough to give you an excellent beginners grounding in, or extend your knowledge of, another language. Teachers are professionally qualified, experienced and friendly.

This beginners course assumes no prior knowledge of the language.

About your tutor:
After completing his tertiary studies at the University of Besancon and the University of Paris, Kassem Saikal taught at the University of Kabul and the French cultural centre in. He returned to France in 1983, teaching French in Lyon and contributing to the local Lyonnaise newspapers.
After moving to Australia Kassem taught French at the Alliance Francaise in addition to working with CIT, DFAT, ANU CCE, Telopea Park School, Lake Ginninderra College, Burgmann School, Amaroo School, and Alfred Deakin High School. He continues to teach French at high school and college level in addition to his classes at CIT Solutions.
Kassem is active in the promotion of French culture and society in Australia and runs marathons in his spare time.
