This class is for those who have not previously attended Pilates classes, or would like a basic Pilates refresher. The course introduces the key concepts of Pilates and the foundation series.
Pilates is a fitness method which aims to improve posture and muscle functioning. Pilates focuses on postural alignment by strengthening the deeper abdominal muscles, supporting mobility through the entire body.
Please inform the instructor of injuries prior to the course commencing, to determine suitability. NOT recommended for pregnant women or those with significant spinal pathologies.
