About your tutor:
Lee Scott was taught how to knit by her grandmother and has been a passionate knitter ever since. She is constantly updating and improving her own skills, taking advanced courses and attending craft retreats and conferences whenever they are offered.
She first started teaching knitting, crochet and Macramé in the 1980s. She has a long standing association with the ACT Embroiderer's Guild where she facilitates a monthly fibre and yarn group and teaches a new knitting, crochet or tatting technique every second month. She has also taught workshops at craft fairs.
Lee and her daughter recently opened an online yarn shop, supplying yarns that are produced in a sustainable and ethical way including those produced by women's community projects in countries such as Africa, Tibet and Afghanistan.
